The Microelectronics Specialist will use their subject matter expertise to understand how our customers design microelectronics and guide the design and architecture for our next-generation cloud platform, focused on trusted microelectronics design, test, and manufacturing. They will act as a lead user of the cloud platform, designing integrated circuits and performing simulations to “shake down” the EDA tools and IP, to provide first-hand feedback on the user experience, and to find problems before our customers. Will also design, implement, and refine adaptive, on-demand EDA tool and IP management workflows within the cloud platform. Responsible for working directly with customers to ensure they are able to use our cloud platform effectively with their designs and IP. As well as working with EDA tool and IP vendors to install, configure, and optimize their tools and IP on our cloud platform. Work also with foundries to ensure designs created within our cloud platform can be manufactured. The Microelectronics Specialist will also develop training materials and give in-person and online training classes to teach users about our cloud platform and inform them of new capabilities. This includes attending trade shows and participating in customer visits to demonstrate the capabilities of our cloud platform. Most importantly, you will keep abreast of emerging trends in the microelectronics field, will experiment with new technologies, will participate in open source microelectronics communities, and will keep us two steps ahead of our customers’ needs. This position will require approximately 25% travel.

Primary Responsibilities
