Nimbis Services Secures Phase III SBIR Contract From USAF for R&D Support

The U.S. Air Force has awarded a $9 million Small Business Innovation Research phase 3 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to Nimbis Services for continued research and development services on a cloud-based Defense Department silicon integrated circuit design environment.

DoD said Thursday Air Force Research Laboratory will obligate $749,468 from fiscal 2015 research, development, test and evaluation funds for the first cost-plus-fixed-fee task order in the sole-source IDIQ contract.

DoD added the company will conduct work at a location in Columbus, Ohio, through June 15, 2023, to facilitate a linkage of design and verification tools across the department’s facilities.

Oro Valley, Arizona-based information technology and services small business Nimbis Services offers application, software and computing services and acts as a clearinghouse for buyers and sellers of technical computing services.
