Nimbis Services was awarded a five-year, $49.5 million contract to develop a cloud-hosted microelectronics ecosystem for the U.S. Air Force.
Details
The company will support a research and development project to help the service branch manage microelectronics supply chain risks, the Defense Department said Thursday. The Air Force Research Laboratory received six offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and the service branch will obligate $1 million on the first task order. Arizona-based Nimbis Services resells commercial computing and software service offerings through a value-added approach.
